EE Set up sidebars and widgets

Widgets

EstateEngine supports some more widgets besides all default WP widgets:

1. RealEstate Categories:

This widget will display various categories of your site. You can customize the widget's appearance as follows:

  • Title: Enter the widget’s name.

  • Number of Categories: Specify how many categories will be displayed.

  • Style: Choose the widget's style: vertical or horizontal.

  • Order By: Arrange the categories by name, ID, count, or slug.

You can also choose to show post counts or hide

2. RealEstate Place:

Widget Setup Guide

This widget will display properties on your site.

  • Title: Enter the widget’s name.

  • Category: Select the category to choose properties.

  • Location: Select the location to choose properties.

  • Style: Choose the style in which the widget will appear: vertically or horizontally.

  • Query: Choose the way to filter the properties.

    • Has Event: Sort by properties with events.

    • Recent Posts: Sort by recently posted properties.

    • Featured Posts: Sort by featured properties.

  • Number of Posts: Decide how many posts will be displayed.

  • Paginate: Select the method to load more information.

    • Load More: Click “load more” to obtain more information.

    • Page Paginate: Click the page number to obtain more information.

    • None: No need to load more

3. RealEstate Map:

This widget is Google map with details and markers on it.

4. RealEstate Social:

This widget will display all your social network information.

5. RealEstate Testimonial:

This widget will display great words from your users. You can also decide how many posts will appear in this widget.

6. RealEstate Advanced Search:

This widget will give users a hand to search the items by many criteria.

7. RealEstate Blog:

Widgets can be easily dragged and dropped from the left columns into suitable sidebars on the right. The latest news will be displayed using this widget.

  • Title: Insert the title

  • Category: Select "Blog" or "Uncategorized"

  • Style: Choose between "vertical" or "horizontal"

  • Number of posts: The number of posts to be shown

  • Paginate:

    • Load more: Click "load more" to retrieve additional information.

    • Page paginate: Click the page number to view more information.

    • None: No need to load more

You can simply drag and drop these widgets from the left columns to suitable sidebars in the right ones:

1. Main Sidebar:

This sidebar is on the right of the properties . It’s optional for you to add any widget into or just leave it empty as in our demo.

2. Top Sidebar:

This sidebar will appear in many pages like category, page list review, location.

3. Single:

It’s found in blog or places, login pages

4. Bottom Sidebar:

This sidebar is located on the bottom of each category page. You can choose any widget you want to add to this sidebar, you can also leave them blank.

5. Footer:

These sidebars are located at the end of each page. Besides, EstateEngine also provides widget for your mobile version: Mobile top sidebar: this sidebar will appear at the top of your site. Don’t forget to click “Save” button to keep all your settings.
