# QAEngine Setting up the intro page

To control the initial landing experience for visitors to your website, you can configure an introductory page instead of directing users immediately to the main content. Follow these steps in the WordPress admin panel:

1. Navigate to **Settings > Reading** in the back-end settings.
2. Under the **Front Page Displays** section, select the **A Static Page** option.
3. In the **Front Page** dropdown menu, choose "Intro" (or your designated introductory page).
4. Click **Save Changes** to apply the settings.

Once saved, your site’s front page will display the selected introductory page when users first arrive, as illustrated in the accompanying.

**Alternative Configuration**: If you prefer not to use an introductory page, you can adjust the settings as follows:

* In **Front Page Displays**, select **Your Latest Posts** to showcase a feed of recent blog posts, or
* Choose **A Static Page** and select a different page from the **Front Page** dropdown menu to set as the homepage.

After making your selection, click **Save Changes** to update the configuration. The resulting front page will appear as shown in the corresponding image.

These options provide flexibility in tailoring your website’s entry point to suit your preferences, ensuring a professional and user-friendly experience.
