FE Introducing theme

A quick look at the main workflow of ForumEngine including:

1. Short description

The ForumEngine theme is a WordPress theme designed to help you create your own forum website. Users can start new threads, reply to existing ones, follow threads, or like them.

In addition to the desktop version, ForumEngine also offers a dedicated mobile version for seamless access on all devices.

2. User roles

• Subscriber

  • Can create a new thread (but cannot publish it if the [Pending Post] function is enabled in the back-end).

  • Can follow threads.

  • Can view, reply to, and like threads and replies.

  • Can edit or delete their own threads and replies within 10 minutes of posting.

  • Can report threads or replies to an Administrator or Moderator.

  • Can edit their own profile.

• Moderator

  • Can publish pending threads.

  • Can edit or delete any threads or replies directly from the front-end.

  • Can close threads.

  • Has access to all Subscriber features.

• Administrator

  • Has full access to all administrative options and features (both in the back-end and front-end).
