FE Ideas Plugin

FE IDEAS is an extension that enables administrators to create "idea threads" within their forum. Additionally, users can rate these ideas and view the rating results.

In the Front-End

1. Status Management: After logging in, administrators or moderators can modify the status of single idea threads. You can configure which roles have this permission in the back-end settings.

2. Voting Visibility: Users can view the total number of votes for each idea thread.

3. Voting Interaction: Users can access the Voting Widget and Voting Button within idea threads to cast their ratings.

In the Back-End

Administrators can customize the IDEAS extension by navigating to Dashboard > Engine Settings > IDEAS in the back-end control panel. Available options include:

1. Category Selection: Administrators can assign specific categories for idea threads.

2. Voting Permissions: Administrators can determine which user roles are allowed to vote or view voting results.

3. Status Permissions: Administrators can specify which user roles can change the status of idea threads from the front-end.

4. Admins can set the default status for Idea threads.

Related topics widget

This widget displays a list of related topics based on hashtags. To create a hashtag:

• When posting a new topic, reply, or comment, type #yourhashtag (without spaces) to link related content.
